Gru tucks Agnes in for bed in this sweet new shot from Despicable Me 2.
In the brand-new trailer, we see Gru (Steve Carell) being kidnapped by the “Anti-Villain League”, and being recruited in order to defeat a new super villain.

Miranda attended the 2013 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards last night (March 23rd). She looked absolutely gorgeous on the purple carpet, and I’ve added over 80 images to the gallery. iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove is heading to network TV.
The actress has been tapped to co-star in NBC’s Girlfriend in a Coma, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
From Nurse Jackie‘s Liz Brixius and Law & Order: SVU/Chicago Fire‘s Dick Wolf, the comedy revolves around Karen (Christina Ricci), who wakes up from a coma after almost two decades to find out she has a 17-year-old daughter from a pregnancy she was unaware of when her life was put on hold.
Cosgrove will play Evie, a small-town, overachieving loner who can’t shake the legacy of being the daughter of “Coma Lady.” When her mother wakes up, her world is turned upside-down and every hope she had of keeping her nose to the grindstone — saving money and getting grades for an out-of-state college — is thrown out the window.
The single-camera comedy is based on the book byDouglas Coupland, with Wolf, Brixius, Danielle Gelber and Peter Jankowski onboard to executive produce. Brixius will pen the pilot.
Should Girlfriend earn a series order, it would mark Cosgrove’s first series regular role on the broadcast networks after starring in Nickelodeon’s iCarly for seven seasons and four on the network’s Drake & Josh. Repped by WME, Anonymous Content and Gang Tyre, Cosgrove next reprises her voice role in the animated feature Despicable Me 2, due July 3.
Miranda attended the Topshop Topman LA Opening Party in California yesterday (February 13th). This was Miranda’s first appearance on the red carpet for 2013! We missed Miranda’s gorgeous outfits. Miranda Cosgrove was born on the day of May 14, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents did not know their daughter was going to be a star but she was discovered at a young age singing and dancing around a table in a restaurant. An agent saw her talent and quickly signed her. Miranda did several commercials like ones for Burger King, McDonalds, and more. But she also auditioned for many roles and finally got one that would be just the beginning of a wonderful career. You may know her from her hit TV show, iCarly.
